Life in Infinity

All was set! I was thrilled. I was heading to London as I had got a project assignment at the prestigious House of Commons, the parliament of the UK. This was an internal transfer within the company, so called secondment, initially for three months.

There was a cloud of worry. I wasn't sure if the receiving company in England would provide me accommodation. My salary would still be the same and paid by the company in my home country, ie significantly lower than required in London. Further, I would also be paying the rent of apartment in my home country so it’d be difficult for me to pay cost of double accommodation. As expected, the hotel prices near the houses of parliament in London are astronomical.

I started searching for cheap hotels on Internet near my place of work. I found a well-known low fare Hotel and kept it as an option, just in case I had to pay for my accommodation.

When I reached London, very soon the company agreed to arrange accommodation for me and provided me a beautiful four star serviced apartment (fully furnished, equipped with cleaning included) just a few blocks away from the low fare Hotel I had chosen!

I’ve observed that the nature always gives us the best! The above example is just one of many I’ve experienced in my life. It is for us to just be grateful for all the gifts we are constantly being showered upon. To spread the waves of joy around us, let us keep passing on the gifts the nature has bestowed upon us!
